East African Wild life society Forest Challenge
East African Wild Life Society (EAWLS) and Kijabe Environment Volunteers (KENVO) are excited to invite you at this year’s Forest Challenge. The Forest Challenge is a conservation event that allows teams to take part in competitive but fun activities in a forest. The aim of the event is to raise awareness and support to rehabilitate forests and water catchment areas in Kenya. Furthermore, we intend to assist local schools adjacent to forest areas with water harvesting equipment.
This event in its 4th edition will be held in Kereita Forest on December 9 and will involve a circuit with multi team building activities with varying levels of difficulty. Some of the activities include: Balloon Reach; Slippery Hill; Dark Tunnel; Mud Crawl; Spider Web; Name Search; Ditch Walk; among others. The winners will be awarded trophies and you never know you could be part of the winning team and get to have the zip line experience.
By supporting this initiative through your participation will go directly to work in helping us protect Kenya’s vulnerable environment. Plus, you will support our efforts to empower communities living adjacent to forests to lead in conserving their natural heritage while providing clean water to our schools.
Thank you for your consideration!
